Endeavoring to help facility managers lower the cost of operations, Supreme Heating have released the highly successful Heatseeker DualSun, a hybrid solar PV thermal panel that simultaneously produces solar electricity and pre-heated water within the one footprint. Engineered and manufactured in France, Heatseeker DualSun has attained local CEC approval and has received an overwhelming response from the Australian market.

Heatseeker DualSun features an integrated heat exchanger behind the panel surface, which efficiently extracts the heat from the PV cells, transferring it to the water. This effectively cools the PV cells and enables the panel to deliver up to 20% more power.
The heated water can be directed into a client’s water services, helping supplement hot water demand or pool heating requirements, saving further on gas and electricity.

DualSun’s hybrid solar PV thermal technology is based on two principles:
The innovative DualSun hybrid solar panel utilises the excess heat from the PV cells, transferring it to the heat exchanger to produce heated water. In the process, the water circulation cools the PV cells, increasing efficiency by more than 20%. Thus, a DualSun installation can produce up to 4 times more energy than a standard photovoltaic installation.
