Project Complete – Bold Park Aquatic Centre

Case Studies

Bold Park Aquatic Centre

Bold Park Aquatic Centre, originally constructed in 1975, is owned and operated by the Town of Cambridge. Due to its age and wear and tear, the facility underwent a $12.25 million make over.

The redevelopment of Bold Park Aquatic Centre included the replacement of the existing pool heating system completed by Supreme Heating WA in October 2015.

129 evacuated tube solar panels were installed over five individual roofs, integrated with three 200kW heat pumps. 36 panels heating a semi-enclosed 20m 4-lane (300,00L) leisure pool to 30°C. And 93 panels heating a 50m 10-lane (1.3m L) outdoor pool to 27°C.
