Supreme Heating has combined the latest technology, together with user friendly concepts in the development of our SS Series of automatic Solar controllers. The SS Series are micro-processor solar controllers used to heat your pool/spa from your solar collector. All the units are duel sensored, i.e. one sensor on the roof for collector temperature, and one sensor installed in a "cold well" in the plumbing sensing pool temperature, before the water goes onto the roof. When the roof sensor is 8˚C hotter than the pool sensor it will activate the pump to circulate water through the collector. The pump will turn off when the roof sensor drops to within 2˚C of the pool sensor. This method of automation ensures that you can only ever heat your pool. It eliminates the possibility of cooling the pool down, i.e. running the solar at night, during cold weather or overheating the pool during prolonged hot periods. If for any reason a hard wired roof sensor cannot be run to your roof, our wireless controller range has a remote sensor allowing an accurate temperature to be read from your roof wirelessly.   |
